Leaving a post on the personal account of social media, Doctor Harsha De Silva highlighted that if he goes to galle face to join the protest, he will be expelled.
You are a good dream in a country where youth had to go behind Politicians to get a job. You are building this country. Long live the struggle. I am a politician. After I became very successful as a professional, I came into politics with a feeling for the country. My aim is to make my contribution to the wellbeing of this country someday.
I told this story first, because you will definitely reject me too as a one of the 225 before making a few words in support of your struggle. Even though you ask that question I will not mind it. I am expressing my views. I wholeheartedly support this struggle regardless of party affiliation. I stand for that.
But, as it should not be given a political face in any way, I, who was labeled as a politician, would never come to these protests. If I come, the youth can drive me away. I am happy that the youth have such strength now” he further stressed while wishing good luck to the protest.
